As a Dallas BHRT specialist, Heather Newman, RN, FNP bioidentical hormone replacement therapy to help men and women overcome the challenges associated with hormonal decline and imbalances.

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy uses hormones that are identical to the body’s endogenous hormones to replenish what the body cannot produce. As aging occurs, the endocrine glands, which include the ovaries, uterus, testicles, thyroid, adrenals, and pituitary gland begin to lose their ability to produce vital hormones. Because the hormones secreted from these glands all maintain countless bodily functions, men and women may begin to notice drastic changes that occur with aging and hormonal decline. Some of these changes may include insomnia, erectile dysfunction, hot flashes, night sweats, low libido, anxiety, depression, fatigue, high blood pressure, wrinkling skin, bone loss, thinning hair, urinary issues, and muscle atrophy. However, Heather Newman, RN, FNP, a Dallas BHRT Specialist, can use bioidentical hormones to help patients replenish deficiencies and improve overall levels of health and wellness.

Philosophy on Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy

I hear all too often that patients are told by their primary doctors that the symptoms of hormone imbalance is just part of aging. They are often put on birth control pills or antidepressants, instructed to exercise more and eat less, and just accept it. I believe that nobody should have to suffer symptoms of weight gain, mental fogginess, decreased libido, irritability, hot flashes, mood swings, and chronic fatigue. These symptoms often get worse with the addition of synthetic hormones.

Synthetic hormones have been molecularly altered and have more adverse side effects than bioidentical hormones. The body does not recognize or metabolize the synthetic hormones normally and the body treats the synthetic hormones as toxins. Bioidentical hormones are derived naturally from plant, yam, or soy. They have the same identical structure of the hormones produced in your body.

Symptoms of declining hormones in both men and women can be greatly reduced if not eliminated with the safe use of bioidentical hormones.

Bioidentical hormone therapy is backed by sound scientific research. It can promote long-term health and wellness.
